cross drilled rotor w/TRD PAD?
I have a power stop cross drilled rotor with TRD Pads, installed today. The pads look like they are rubbing off in the holes of the rotor and on the rotor itself? pads too soft? I know Power-Stop wants you to use their pads but TRD pads should be ok I thought. Just brek in period????
any help thanks.

I have the TRD street pads and they seem to holding up well. I wouldn't worry too much about it. The only thing is that you may want to make sure that the cross drilled holes are countersunk. I don't think that anyone would make cross drilled any other way, but this may be something to look at. the countersinking makes sure that as the rotor wears, it doesn't cause an extreme excessive wear to the pads. Cross drilled or slotted rotors will eat up the pads much quicker than stock rotors. As you well may know. Just inspect them every couple of months
hope this helps
