The Leather Interior Of The GS400
I've spent a couple of hours cleaning and feeding the seats last evening and I tell you how impressed I was with the seating surfaces. Full leather with a nice grain of hides were used in upholstering the GS. The last Gen 1 GS I've owned leather was so dry and crumbly, it was pathetic, even if you put the Leatherique on the seats, it would'nt do anything. As a matter of fact every one I see has messed up seats unless they were recovered. She never stops impressing me. BTW I have to Goop Gone the dash, it seems as though there was a wood grain kit on here before and it was removed. They should've just left it alone... oh well more for me to do....peace!

CPR on the thread... Ok so we got good leather ; if one is going to cover with sheepskins for serval years should the seats underneath be treated or anything/ if you have a thin tear not quite totally thru about the size of a quater is this patchable and how so or best left alone? Dashboard idea from RV's a product called Aerotech 303, ( i think) it's got high UVL rays protection. Both my wife and GS use it and neither has a wrinkle.

The leather used in our GS is great. 10 years of wear with no surface rips or anything. I'm in the middle of giving my whole interior a clean (what else do you do when you're sick? ). I'm partial to Maguire's products which seem to be doing a great job of keeping it in top shape.
