Was searching around on Craigstlist last night and saw that. I can throw down about 2700 atm as a down payment on the car and then can make monthly payments at about a $100 for 48 months to finish it off. Obviously i'm going to pay it off quicker than that, but i'm thinking about just throwing down the money on it so I can snag that now. It looks so crisp and clean and the interior is very nice! What do you guys think? Snag it? Need advice quick before this is gone!

Take a look at it in person. If you are not mechanically inclined take it to a mechanic. Looks nice though..

I ran the VIN number on Carfax and was gonna get the last 5 reports for the car and saw this;

'22 records found in the CARFAX Vehicle History database.'

Seems like a lot eh? What do you guys think?

So that's good that there's been no accident/damage reported?

Think I should Rich? I was thinkin' that at first then thought they're giving me 3 months warranty off the top no extra charge so I didn't wanna try jippin' them and them not want to do business or somethin', lol.

I sent the info to my mom to call in 'cause I think they just told me they sold it cuase they don't wanna do business w/ me since i'm young. They haven't updated the site saying it's been sold so until I see that I don't believe that it has been.

I don't think it's that great a deal to go crazy over. High mileage GS300's are out there for that price. In my opinion, if money is that big of an obstace, you may want to consider a car that is cheaper to maintain.

My 2 cents.

Nah money really isn't. I would've had the 7k by mid/end of July no problem. I was just trying to snag the deal while it was there.

Actually, you can't say that just because a carfax says "no accident/damage" reported. I had a relative of mine who picked up a car, clean carfax. Next thing you know, our body shop guy said it was involved in an accident in the past, and that repairs were done.

All that you can say is that the VIN hasn't been reported for repairs Or maybe it really wasn't involved in an accident.

not a deal really. Go to an auction with someone and pick one up there. You would need to have the $$$ in hand, in full. But still, that is not a steal to jump on.
