I have the 15MOJOQ1. They are quad coil(ed) subs and they require 2.5 cf as I said before. I have a ported box right now but I never hooked them up to hear them. The dude I bought them from said he hit like 164 db with them in that box. A bit hard to believe but Memphis does make a pretty good sub and at 2000 watts rms (500 rms per coil), I was wondering if you have a good amp that I could run per sub too... Let me know what you think...

If you want optimum for those woofers, then I recommend getting another car (god i hate when people tell me that LoL) but its true. I wouldnt do 2 15's in our lil ol trunks, you'll probably get much more out of one. build the box 28.5x15x30 use two 6" aeroports pointed to the side of car with the length of 22.5". That gives you a 6 cube box (before woofer and port displacement) and tunes it at about 32 hz so you get still get some nice hard hitting street bass without sacrificing too many of the low end. And mind you thats for 1 woofer... however I havent the clue the mounting depth is of that woofer (couldnt find the specs) but I think you have room to put the ports on the back of the box one on top of the other. You can throw both 15's in that box, but you'll notice a significant difference in the bass... I'd stick with one and keep the other as a spare. and use the Zapco C2K9.0X on that beast (depending on the impedance of those coils)... She'll Love it and if you have the cheese, get the C2K4Kw and wire accordingly... Those are some bad *** amps man! In conclusion, I'd stay away from the M-class amps that memphis has. I've learned that they are EXTREME power hoggers! They Love the juice of the car and dont really power themselves as much as they should...

Dont knowI have too agree, I was VERY impressed with the factory setup in the GS! Sounded great and the punch factor mixed with the bass output was DAMN good! Props to Toyota for their research... as for a gazzillion woofers, well in my case it was all for show never had nothing to do with sq. and had everything to do with showing what I had, cant drive blaring a system anywhere... just not worth the ticket. and yea a single 10 is great for SQ competition, hell even a pair of great 6x9's will also do its job.

my 10 in the factory location does it's job but so hard to get rid of rattles, I dynmatted the whole rear section of the panel but it's not suffice. I will add two 12'' or single 15" to the trunk to give it more punch... I hate it when I drive, the punch goes away. So I might go for these and run it at 75% the spec.

You have to remember, sound waves are endless as are vibrations; meaning: you many solve one rattle problem, but the wave will find the next thing to rattle. Thats why its good to do the whole car. For every rattle you take care of, 2 or 3 new ones will come out :/ just the way it works. and theres no such thing as "75% of the spec" you cant use math to bring down the size of what I gave you, in other words you cant cut the box volume in half and remove one of the ports... thats not how box tuning works Best thing to do is, tell me ( or whomever you want to engineer a box for you) the MAX size box you want in your car then he or I can tell you what size port you use. Thats how any REAL shop should build a box and NEVER use factory spec Factory spec is never optimum, just reliable. A shop should always ask (when building a box) what kind of bass you want and what you're gonna use it for, do you want street bass, spl bass, SQ bass or LOW bass. Every application has a different type of tuning just a little 101 (and i'm bored )
