I apologize if this information has been posted already--I looked and didn't see it--but I thought people might be interested. I received a glossy from Lexus in the mail yesterday with info on the GX470 that also had update info on the rest of the Lexus line. About the GS430 they noted only a few changes including perforated leather seating surfaces and a few things standard that had previously been options (can't remember what offhand).

I'll grab the brochure tonight and either scan the info as an image to post or just write up a summary.

"GS430 will offer available 17-inch wheels in a new 7-spoke design to help enhance handling performance.

The GS300 will receive (as standard equipment) the same 225/55VR16 tires that are currently standard on the GS430. The all-season tires and chromed wheels continue as options for the GS300.

The GS430 will receive a new perforatred leather pattern for seating surfaces, and heated seats will become standard. A leather-trimmed interior is available for the GS 300"

 

Is it just me, or I swear Lexus says the new _______ will have perforated leather and it never does.

Yeah I've noticed that too. That would be great if air conditioning was channeled through the perforated leather in the seats like Saabs. Oh well, we will see if Lexus is lying or not this time

 

The LS 430 has A/C seats. THe Lincoln Navigator had them as an option since 1999 I believe. mmmm A/C seats.
