im sure the light will fit because i've seen them on a GS4, but i heard some new wholes will need to be drilled to fit all the sockets correctly.

I don't know about 98 GS4.. but they fit perfitly on my Y2KGS4.

Yes they work and swap out directly. It is completely plug and play.

YOU need to drill out the hole for the reverse light if you didn't get the new harness with the taillight.

If you purchase the taillights for a
Dealer , they harness is included as a part of the lights.
