Help with the E-shift in the 03 GS300.

I am still new in this forum, and my question is. Is that all the second gen gs or is that my car that when shift to E-shift aka Manual wannabe, the lowest gear i can go to is 2, my boy has the 3rd gen gs 430 and his was able to get down to gear 1.

Eshift will not let you go into 1st gear. You can manually shift into it, but not using Eshift. L is 1st gear
