V160 GS4 coming soon!! UPDATE....IT'S ALIVE!!
As one of the OG's Im about to set the bar once again!! I was gonna wait until it was done, but I went by the shop today and got excited.
V160 6 speed swap in my GS 400 is about a week or so away from being done. Just waiting on the driveshaft, and need to get my TRD LSD installed and it will be up and running.
Twin Turbo 1UZ 6 speed, gotta love it!!
Pics will be up as well as vids once its complete.

What I really want to see is what kind of power it puts down with the V160. That 569rwhp was put down through a TH400 tranny. The TH400's are said to rob roughly 30% power, in theory my rwhp should jump significantly on the dyno.
At the end of the day, I could really care less about the dyno numbers though. I did this for the fun factor. This car should be a blast to drive with this set up in it. Im a bit concerned on how user friendly the clutch is going to be, but I will see soon!

I have so much done to this car, it would take way too long to go through everything. If you search it out, I have a bunch of threads on the build from a few years ago.
In a nutshell, I have a fully built 1UZ motor with twin turbo set up, Haltech electronics, racelogic traction control, etc, etc, etc.... I was one of the original TT GS4's that were running around. I had a TH400 race built transmission in the car with the build, which is now being switched out to the V160.
Other stuff: Vertex, WIN Racing, HRE, Apexi Coilovers, blah blah blah!!! Way too much money, way too much time. The build was a little different than alot of the stuff you see on the forums today. I was all about speed, HP, and doing something nobody else had done.
This car was fast with the TH400 (as my buddy with a Viper GTS found out), its going to be fast and fun to drive with the V160.

No, Im getting it done by a buddy of mine, who actually used to work for Mo back in the day. We started this swap in my garage, he has since opened up his own shop in my area which is where its being finished up. Thats also why it was delayed, he had to get his business up and running in the midst of the swap.
He has done an awesome job, and its been going pretty quick once he hopped on it.
I will say this swap has gone smooth, tranny fit with very little messaging. The pedals were the biggest PITA, but he has them in and looking good.
This is an expenisve swap though.....parts wise.
