are you going to try to rewire them yourself? They are color coded right?... should call the junk yard.
Almost looks like the tire is rubbing against the wire . . .

Hello everyone. It's been awhile since I fixed my car. But now I found some time to review the whole work. And please try to uderstand that English is foreign language for me))
So, I tried to search whole wire harness. But found only Toyota Aristo wires. Though there was too much differences. Finally me and my friend, we decieded to do it ourselves, find burnt out wires and rewire them.
First thing that I've done was ABS diagnosis, it was pointing to front left wheel speed sensor. I put it out and found out that its resistance was ok. So I checked resistance of the wires coming from the fender and there was a problem, it showed zero. Speed sensor wires has contact.
So next evening I was at my friend's house. We began to disassemble the whole wire stuff. It was approx. 20 burnt wires. Some of the wires didn't have isolation and color, some wires was burnt to each other.
What we had under hood:

The burn wires under hood:

Wires under fender was burnt completely:

That's my poor Lexus without wheel and ECU:

Wire donor for our wires was old Subaru Legacy:

The ECU was removed to see how much wires was damaged coming to it:
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img9/9522/img0068jl.jpg)
After some time of analysis it was clear that not only under hood wires was damaged, all this hot wires was coming to cabin, and we found a lot of damaged wires under steering wheel. My friend lying under steering wheel:

We have to put back the ECU to move car:
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img101/3279/img0073ph.jpg)
It was very difficult to cut out the rubber gasket covering wires coming between the underhood and cabin:

So we found the whole problem reason. It was bad chinese fuse. I bought them some time ago. Now I see that all fuses was same but color. They all was some kind of 40A. I've put that fuse (it was saying 15A) at foglite place. That damned fuse:
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img689/7929/img0086v.jpg)
We have to disassemble parking brake pedal and other stuff. There was a lot of burnt wires::
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img217/8963/img0087fh.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img132/1179/img0088ka.jpg)
Our open air office )))
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img185/3870/img0096qd.jpg)
The underwheel guy's workplace:
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img186/9162/img0103d.jpg)
The cat was eating fish, that why I treat it so badly ))
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img138/5452/img0112zj.jpg)
After two weekends spent at the car soldering wires, we finally had results. Everything burnt was rewired, connected and tested:
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img198/6023/img0002qe.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img534/6100/img0003bj.jpg)
Then we began to wind round all this wires with isolating tape:
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img94/7837/img0004mn.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img651/8184/img0005hh.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img815/8873/img0006w.jpg)
![](http://imageshack.com/a/img198/5948/img0011iv.jpg)
So we have ended with weariness and happyness. The only thing that I couldn't make start working was SRS. SRS diagnosis was pointing to left front SRS sensor. But wires was ok. I think it is damaged.
Btw, I've spend 20$ for some wires and food ))) The cheapest repair ever )))
That's all folks )))

Yes it cos is just money.... no one knows how much time and nerves was involved in this repair...
Yep, my batt is some korean make (they told me so). It is 80 Ah and it fits GS. I will change it to Varta next weekend. I've installed a CarPC and two amplifiers recently, so it is not enough for all this stuff.

I will try to replace left and right sensors between each other. And diagnose SRS by connecting Te-E1 contacts. If new error will be the right sensor I will buy used one at junkyard. Used sensor costs almost 100$ from aristo. I didn't ask the official dealer for new one, but I think it is more expensive.
