You were asking about the 120k. Actually I got the service done for about 1200 (parts and labor). If my memory serves me correctly I think my friends said that if I were to go through the dealer myself it would have costed probably more than twice that amount. As far as the things they replaced, I don't have the inventory sheet on me here at the moment. But if you like I can go over it and list what they replaced after I take a good look at it another time. Off the top of my head, I remember them changing the following:

Water pump, plug wires, distributor and cap, various seals and gaskets, there's way more but like I said I can't remember at the moment, they did replace alot of things though.

Thumbs up

Welcome to CL! I think all GS's are beautiful. My parents really love thiers and I don't mind driving it sometimes either. I really like the 1st-Gen. GS, they are styled very well in my opinion. I just hate that they don't get the repect they deserve. I know what it's like to want to pay cash for everything. My family operates the same way. Make the choice that's best for your pocketbook, even though that might sound silly.

By the way, what engine did the 1st-Gen. use? What other Toyota products used the engine? It's not the 2JZ, is it?

Also, hasn't Lexus used Optitron instrumentation on all their cars since the beginning (except for maybe the LX)? I'm sure even my ES has it...
