Read through this entire thread. The anticipation for finals pics is like waiting for Gran Turismo 5 to come out. Now i have to keep coming back to see the finished product. I'm requesting 0-60, 60-70, 70-90 videos, all in third gear.

Thx in advance!

You are not the only one in the anticipating game.

For videos, I want to first get one with the airride suspension.

Then the professionally done video, will be of me cruising around.

Then the speed videos, will have to be done carefully for the ones over 60 mph.

From 70, tickets are issued, and at 90+ its a major fine. At 95, the police can impound your car, with a 10K fine.

Yea I was also thinking about doing that. But a little later down the road.

My next project is two tone interior with double diamond stitching...

Great thread I really enjoyed reading all of the posts. Jeff did a great job on your engine you sent it to the right man. I had the Vizage body kit for many years as well and am in the process of doing a rebuild. Great job with everything you have done thus far. Can't wait to see what you do next.

Well my Saturday update did not go 100% as planned.

But I got the airride wiring complete w/ 4 awg, along with a 100 A breaker.

My HKS turbo timer type 1, is finally hooked up nicely. But ran in a slight problem. With the aem standalone, I had no idea what the speed and rpm wires were. Got to get Jeff's help for that.

And the terminal clamp that has wiring holders preset for 4 awg did not come in. This would give a clean look for the grounding kit wiring.

So on to semi-decent pics (no particular order):

Cool

Well, today I found out that with the 4 awg wiring done, it takes a long time to start the car (5 long tries at least). Not enough power is going to the igniton (I think) in order to start up the car properly.

What must I upgrade in order, to get the car started up quicker (dry cell battery, alternator, grounding kit is in the works, and know the hks dli seems a lot more needed)...

Need some advice...

And more pics; Lighting in the underground parking lot was not that great...

^^^

Your request for high speed videos will have to be done properly. And making sure I dont get busted. Especially after 70 mph.

My university classes have started, and Im still smoothening out some issues with the tune. And with the electrical components. Not to make excuses, but I have been sending messages to CL members that can lead me in the right direction (Mr. Jokster, Speedaddic ).... In order to get the GS in perfect running condition. Even a small loose connection can cause an electrical imbalance which would lead to different problems.

Jeff is also busy with his classes, so it will take him time
to get the right tune fit for my weather conditions. Not to mention the cold start.

But pics I can get done... I thought an underground parking lot would have been good, but they did not turn out as I had hoped for...

Alright time to bring this thread from the graveyard...

The GS had some major downtime, the main reason would be the aem tune. Jeff sent me many tunes to get the car going perfectly, but there was a small problem that caused none of the tunes to work.

When I went to get the turbo timer installed with the upgraded wiring for the airride, the employee also moved around the wires for the aem, one of those wires was the cam sensor. Which was the reason why the tunes from Jeff were not working.

So Jeff came up to my place, (whole story is interesting), but the time Jeff had was very limited, but he figured out which wire was causing the GS to stall, relocated the aem standalone from under the dash, to under the driver front seat, and tuned the car with sweeet throttle response.

I do plan on getting Jeff to come back up for another aem setup, which will be better, but will have to wait till the spring. GS is now in the garage (winter weather has come) till March.

But today I finally got the time, and of course weather was good (i.e no snow, or rain, but it was cold -12 degrees) to get a professional photoshoot.

Another thread will be made when I get all the photoshoot pics...

In the mean time (new pics will be added everyday ):
