Yup 3 hrs, but not really three hours. After the tank fills up the compressors stop. I can fully deflate and fully raise. But when I do it a second time the compressors will kick back on. For about 15 seconds, in order to re-fill the amount that was lost. Thats why I said 'but not really three hours...'

Second battery and isolator and alternator will be done at the same time.
I definately going to take all the advice I got from you, and Brian.

During the photoshoot, I never turned the car off, just let it idle. Since we went to about 6 locations. There was no point, turning off the car and starting it every 30 min. or so. Wasted a fair bit of gas just idling...

Yea I already killed one battery with the compressors while the car was off.

Defiantely do not want that to happen again.

turn on for 15seconds? how big is your tank? 1 gallon? Or are you running an Oasis compressor?

5 gallon tank with 2 viair compressors...

Uncalibrated sensors...

Full tank = 80 psi compressors are off...

Full down and full up reading of tank becomes 70.

Do it again psi in tank, drops to about 68 then compressors kick back on and it takes about 15 seconds to hit 80 psi again and stop.


I think the compressors just come on if they are below 68 psi reading and stop when tank is full....

oh man, that alternator looks ****ing SEXY!

230 amps?
what does it do at idle. i think 120 and full output at 1500 rpm?

i think this pic just convinced me to get the xp and not the hp!

It actually rated at 150 amps at idle.

But my idle is set at 800ish so it would be slightly higher than that.

Yea Rob, when I opened the box I knew right away to do DC because it looks like they make their own housings instead of re-manufacturing the OEM ones with thier guts like Iraggi does.

I know that I need to change the rims, and body kit, but that will happen when there is more cash flow.

In the mean time, its cool the way it is.

As for those who are wondering why these items have not been installed yet; they will be.

Project starts May 26th, this thread will have plenty of pics showing the installation of the dual battery and all the parts mentioned above.

Along with the two tone leather interior
