Sorry for the late updates. I've been finishing up some last minute stuff on the car. Also finished the headlights today. I was waiting for the body shop to get the painted housings back to me for a few days. Anyways, here's a few pictures I've taken over the past few weeks showing progress of everything. Car is pretty much ready to go out, I'm just giving everything a final check. Hopefully I will finish editing the video showing the car in action and the air ride going up/down
On with the pictures...
My messy garage. Just moved to a new house, so I didn't have much time to clean up in here yet.
Some spare engines laying around.
More parts.
Transmission torn down. Getting ready for race build internals.
Pulled the head off to check the condition of the engine. Put a new headgasket on after everything checked out ok.
Engine head put back together. Building a custom wiring harness in the picture.
Some BC 272 2JZ-GTE VVTi cams I have laying around lol.
Q45 projector disassembled. I paint them a very specific way, I think I'm the only one that does it like this
Assembled projectors. Black q45 plate, black housing, white trim ring, and the reflective aluminum trim that's usually on the inside is mounted on the outside.
Again, I think I'm the only one that build these retro's in this fashion. What do you guys think? Yay or nay?
Another close up shot of the assembled projectors.
Back of the projectors. Showing the LuxuryMods Q45 brackets. Good quality stuff guys
Projectors mounted into headlight housing. One housing has the custom painted shrouds installed.
Both shrouds installed.
Everything resealed and completed. Ready to go on the car now.
Completed engine shot, angle 1.
Completed engine shot, angle 2.
Hood closed. Close up of projectors.
Car at normal street driving height.
A front shot of the car with the air ride slammed.
Entire car shot slammed on air. The bumper is not fully bolted on in this picture, so that explains the slight gap. Doing some checks on the intercooler piping clearance so can't bolt bumper on just yet.
