BEFORE:

AFTER:

just thought id post up a pic of the differance. i was looking for a comparison pic, before i got these in today, so i thought id post them up in case anyone needs them

i havnt driven with them yet, but from the light output on the wall, i can defintely tell a color tone differance. much whiter.

you can tell the differance, because in the after pic, i have the clear side markers (which i also just put in today)

Hope you got them on Ebay! I paid $45.00 total shipped for a new set of 9005 and 9006 Silver Star Ultra's. I put a set in my High Beams and a set in my wife's Nissan Quest low beams.

At Autozone, they wanted $50 for just 1 set! I paid $5 less and got two pairs of bulbs!

cus of the whole housing being wrong for hids and all that. i dont wana do a retrofit, and i dont wana get pulled over for hids inthe lows, if their not going to work and be like their supposed to.

im doing hids in the fogs though. =)

i dont want hids in the lows. my housing is for halogen so they wont even look all that great. plus, i rather pay 50 for some good bulbs than 30 for "hids" that are knock offs .

yeah i know i could have gotten hids for that price, but i didnt want them cus of the housing that doesnt even work good with hids.
hids are definitely going in the fogs though.
why does everyone care so much about warranty on 60 dollar hids? is it cus everyone knows when you buy cheap *** hids at 60 dollars that you WILl need the warranty or what? no offense to u man. but i have a thread on hids and everyone keeps talking about cheap priced hids ...with warranty.
you get what you pay for. imo, i think 60 dollar hids must be cheap as hell and must have ****ty quality. even if they "look just as bright", that doesnt mean everything. anyways, i dont want to get into another discussion on the hids, im just saying i didnt get hids in the lows cus of the housing, and nor do i think i could get some GOOD hids for 60 bucks.

and if anyone is wondering why id do hids in the fogs but now the lows... well its cus the fogs i can turn on and off and its not my primary source of light at night. if the fogs blind people or they glare, i can easily shut them off, plus fogs arent that important so if their not exactly perfect, it doesnt matter too much.
