No like if your tranny gets stuck or u lost the key and need to take it out of park it will allow u to shift to neutral.
ohhh okay.. but what cover are you refering to? I'll look again later when i run to the store but that is good to know that in case of emergency we can do that.
do you need the ignition key or can you use the emergency wallet key you get from the dealer. I still have mine used it 1 time when my door locks closed themselves, thank gawd for that! Maybe i am still confusing it with "valet" mode.. I need to grab my owner's manual and look it up i guess..
