I have a 1998 GS 300. I recently replaced a battery. The battery indicates that it is fuly charged. I turn the key and nothing happens. The previous battery seemed to drain quickly. I have heard of common problems with Lexus anti theft, or the key. Any suggestions?

First thing I'd check is to ensure you have a good connection to the battery terminals.

Done. Good connection. Still nothing.

Learn how to use a cheap voltmeter and you can solve this yourself...
If you have questions post the voltage numbers here.

Without knowing what the alternator output is or what type of charge the battery holds the only thing we can do is guess.
