Default Front suspension overhaul

Hello everyone and thank you for having such a resourceful web site like Club Lexus.

I am getting ready to overhaul the front suspension:
lower control arms
ball joints
radius arms
shocks KYB all around
front shock mounts

it would be greatly appreciated if anyone can help me with any tips on the installation of all the above parts. I've been looking at the manual and a few times it says "at the time of installation, after stabilizing the suspension, torque the nut". Do not really understand what that means, can someone please help me out? Thank you in advance everyone

Here the write-up for the lower ball joints:

I'll look for others.

Good luck!

I'm overhauling my front suspension also. Tomorrow I'm doing the lower ball joints, tie rod ends and stabilizer links. After that I'm doing the Daizen steering rack bushings, sway bar bushings and control arms bushings.

Sounds like compressing the spring down with spring clamps while you are installing the top hat onto the spring and shock absorber assembly. You won't be able to torque the nut down without compressing the spring anyway.

since your going to be down there...i would get bushings and change out the tie-rod ends. better to knock everything out instead of having to go back later on, IMO
