Just got a RHD console with the switches for very little money. So I'll try to hook up the switches and see if the seats heat. I don't have my hopes up, but I can always try.

Not sure what you are doing but it worked fine for me... Here's how I did it. Put in the seat heater fuse in the passenger kick panel, 20a. Swap in the heated seats and re-connect the seat plugs. Swap the center console with the heater switches. This was on a 2001 GS.

Differences with the plug is just a pin. Non-heated seats do not have the heating pads.

Default Bumping for help

old thread I know but my 98 400 doesn’t have heated seats and above says they all come pre wired so I got a center bezel with heated switches and there no plug for them in my car? Do I need a harness that goes to another plug elsewhere? Please send help!

I just came from the junkyard and the 98 GS400 I seen has a white plug in the middle for the heated seat controls. It is part of a loom with 2 other connectors on it. would double check as it may just be hidden down in there.
