solved 1 problem, only to create 2 more
A friend of mine and I took on the major task of replacing my starter. After about 5 hours+ the job was done. The car started with no problems, but then 2 new problems surfaced. 1). The VSC light came on. 2). I went to test drive the car and the car won't accelerate until the gas pedal is pushed half way down.
For the first problem,I tried using a scanner to clear the VSC code, didn't work.
For the second problem we tried adjusting the cable for the accelerator, with little to no success.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
matt

solved one problem...
Thanks for the reply guys. I'm almost sure we hooked up all the connectors.
I used a scanner on it, but it said that there was no error codes shown. I thought this was weird since I currently have both the VSC and the check engine light showing up on the dash. We're going to disconnect the battery and see if that helps.
