Default My New to Me 1999 GS300

I was fianally able to take a few pics of my 1999 GS300.My wife and I bought this car with 170000 miles on it and it looks like it has only 20000.I am very impressed with the build quaility of these Lexus's.I had a 1994 LS400 that was very clean that I absoultly loved, and regret getting rid of. This GS was very well taken care of with Lexus doing most of the services. I did install a set of 2008 18" wheels and a set of Kumho Performance tires 245/45/18.Other than that the only thing I might change is the exhaust and tips.Any other sugestions would be great. This is one of the best web sites on the internet for just about any issue for a Lexus. I would hope that the people and sponsors of this site keep up the great work. Thanks

Default Checked

I did have the ball joints checked and seem to be ok. I have also done a transmisson service(drain and fill),and changed the rear diff oil with Royal Purple 80-90.I also plan on doing most of the service repair myself to save money. The DIY form is the best way to do this.

Default Mod

The only mod that I care for is the exhaust. As for anything else,I might do a drop of 1"frt and 1 1/2" rear drop. That is about it for modding

How hard is the swap to a RX300 steering wheel and air bag?

Car looks great!! Take good care of it.

I also do most of the maintenance myself, to save money and because I really enjoy working on my car.
