Exclamation Finally - Pics of My GS4!

Gang - I reckon I'm one of the few Member's/Moderators who don't have pics of their car on this website. I managed to get the scanner working long enough to post some that R about 6 months old but no MAJOR changes since then. If ya'll get a chance, they're in the GS Gallery. Nothin' special but it's paid for!!

Thumbs up Yep!

Rick - Yes, I did 95% of the car myself. I had an installer friend help me run wires & assist in building the fiberglass side panels in the trunk as well ( LOTS of sanding there!! ) In fact, Percy put some of my "system in progress" pics in the back of his Audio Primer. Now the motorization is for function & not show. The GS is a true daily driver & I had to make a custom space saver spare to make up for the loss of the full sized spare. The front amp rack pivots toward the sub box to allow better access ( didn't post that pic ). Thanks for the compliments!

Gene, one of the better installs Ive ever seen in a Lexus. You definately have the black and yellow scheme going on. That trunk looks like a took a lot of time to do. Are those Focal Polykevlar in the front?

Talking Thanks!

Sirs - Good eyes!! Yes, those R Focal 165 KX Polykevlars that I have crossed over as midranges. I rely on the 7" Focal Xperts in the front doors as midbass for a touch of "bass up front". When I changed the engine battery to the Optima ( to match the system dedicated one in the trunk - that's the sideways picture - SORRY!! ) I decided to continue with the "bumblebee" theme since judges like to see a common color scheme from front to rear. That's when I painted the RMM STB & SRT intake Corvette Yellow & added the yellow Hose Techniques vacumn hoses. Since these pics I've painted my brake calipers gloss black & bought some yellow "Lexus" stickers from Ted. They tend to get their fair share of double takes at redlights!! Right now I have the kicks covered in grille cloth ( not much protection there ) but a friend is gonna use a water jet cutting machine to custom make me some 1/4" plexiglas grills with the Lexus "L" cut above each component. Might not happen as the wife's starting to complain about a lack of footroom ( she's only 5' 1" & 113# & a size 4-6 shoe!? ) Don't know why SHE'S complaining - I wear size 11's!!
CK - I used the Eibach Pro Drop kit ( springs & KYB struts ) for a 1.25" drop ( roads R too bad in Louisiana to go much lower, IMO ). The Zenetti's are 18 x 8.5 & shod with Nitto Extremes ( 245/45ZR/18's ). I think the L-Sportline side skirts make it look lower than it really is.
