Buying used suspension NOT a bad idea if they turn out to be what you're looking for. If they do indeed have low mileage, then you can save quite a bundle from new. Don't let 'used' deter you away from buying them. I much rather get used JIC than new POS Megans.

I have low opinion of Tein products. Their CSv2 was probably the one most likely to get....until they jacked up the price ten-fold.

Are you getting coilovers to have your car slammed or what? You seem more concerned with ride quality

I'd pass on coilovers made by Tein.

I've been in a GS with the Blistiens PSS coils and all Daizen suspension bars and is felt like a BMW..

Search member lexforlife for his threads on his suspension upgrades..

Like I said before. Don't get coilovers. Ask yourself why you want them. So you can be dumped? So you can scrape your car up? If you want to go lower than springs you are asking for a lot of trouble if you are daily driving. Air or cup kit is really the only way to go if you want to be low. Otherwise your car can get stuck in a lot of places. On springs right now I hate going over speed bumps. If I was slammed I'd never get over. Save your money for something worthwhile. Don't make the mistake of skipping steps. You will get buyers remorse.

I know this thread is OLD but... I'm planning to get Tein Flex, brand new. I was wondering if you can give me some feedback about the Tein Flex if you bought them. Some people haven't tried the Flex and already hate them just because they are over priced and tein. Will the Flex out comfort and out performed the beloved BC coils?

If you are good at angling your car, you can pass gandalf anytime.
