Default So far for the Lady In RED

I have owned this beauty for a couple of months and have done some simple changes and maintenance so far. Changed cabin filter( WOW it was nasty). With purchases from fellow members Kipod and Lextacy GS4, I replaced my cloudy 2000 headlights with some 01 green tints,WHAT A DIFFERENCE A CHANGES MAKES.
When I purchase the car the dealer only had one master key. No remotes

Found the thread where the Miami dealer was selling them for $30 bones (Lexus shell with key cut). Got the push button remotes from ebay and just swicthed them out programmed them and BAME!!!! Two Lexus key remotes fully operational. ALL for about $120 total.

Other than changing all fluids and steering rack bushings being changed that has been it. Want to do more, but I am researching the wheel wobble at 60mph before I get into lowering and etc.

I have come to the conclusion that the suspension wasn't serviced 90,000 as the manual says it should be. So I will be replacing LBJ, OTR, all bushings, maybe UCA as well. See how that goes.

Til next time

EVEN THOUGH SHE SHAKES, SHE'S BAD

Default Amber signal

Forgot. I did do the knock out amber single for the headlights. Easy DIY and I like it a lot better than those yellows

Wow. Those simple mods you did make it totally different. I'm thinking about the headlight amber knockout. Any tips?

he's right daryl that simple headlight swap really makes your car look newer and alot cleaner. the newer model tails would help update this and look even better. looking good so far

Allot of people will suggest adjustable lowering springs, which have the benefit of controlling your ride height, and ride comfort...
From my experience with Tein and Megan’s, I would recommend Tein suspension; allot smoother ride and no suspension noise. Another route, if you don’t want to give up the right comfort and cabin noise would be L-tuned suspension. L-Tuned gives you a 1 inch drop and is quite sporty while not sacrificing the comforts of stock suspension. And if you wanted another inch drop you could get front/rear RCA's... this is the setup I wanted. But since I have Megan's already I don’t really care to do it. Good luck on your build, and good find. And continue the updates, it's nice to see the direction new second gen GS owners go with there cars.

Default Cleaning the ride/ took a few pics

Was cleaning the ride yesterday after replacing my chicken wire in the rear bumper( similar to the front). Just took a few pics in and out. Iam so ready to lower the car and get some new shoe but ince the car had now records of service, I have been doing maintenence and simple mods.

Trying to catch a deal on some LED tail lights. Just put in order of parts, spark plugs, both fuel filters, serpentine, timing belts, water pump. That way next couple of days off I will have a nice project.
