Wondering what would a super charger cost and what would be the ramifications on the engine. I'm sure people have done it before. I'm just trying to get some answers before i go on and buy an M5 2003. I need about 420 hp, oh i forgot i would.. obviously get some lowering springs and strut bars. I need some info on what springs to get while i lower the car without losing that nice airplane ride. Thanks for the info guys..
Regards,
Rob

i have a GS400. I want to get headers, y pipe, intake and exhaust. I saw this GS400 that sounded beautiful and boy do i want that 8 cylinder roaring, it's on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks5C8GC_qvQ, but with extra hp i need to go for it. Most important is money, i have a wife and she's **** and wants a new Audi, but my opinion is NO! I've always wanted an M5 all my life, i had an M3 before that. Before i go for my M5 i need to know how much hp i can get with little money, see if it's worth it. I also have a scientist for a mechanic and labor wise... cheap for any fellow GS member who needs him. He only works on Sunday's. My car is also for sale and people want to rape me, has had all major maintenance done, so... my brain is all over the place.
Whats up Jokster, any pics of your interior??

You may be able to get into an M5 for relatively cheap.. but the cost of parts, performace or stock will choke you.
M5 is a great car but complicated and pricey to maintain.. especially since the last year for the e39 M5 was 03.. so you are looking a a minimum of a 7 year old car.
