I used a guy who has about 35 years of experience and is a one man show. So the cost was reasonable. It was around 3700 dollars and it is flawless. I had budgeted 4500, that was the absolute most I was willing to spend on it. I'm using it as a work car and am going to drive it into the ground so I'll end up getting my money's worth out of it. It just hit 100k miles.

Cool. I always wondered why they stop using this paint for the GS, but continued to use it on the SC430...and my mom just purchased an 07 Camry with the same blue paint. Weird.

I agree. It makes no sense at all. And on top it all off, when they went to the GS430 they took away the Nakamichi AND the steering wheel shifters. I can live without the E-shift because it isn't a true manual. However, I have to have The Nakamichi. It destroys the Levinson. I had the 430 but I dumped it for a Phaeton because it didnt have the instant torque that the 400 had. I'm much happier with the 400. 430 was nice, but it just wasn't for me.

Good info. I knew about the radio, but I didn't know that the 400 had e-shift. I never use my e-shift on my GS300. I've never been in a car with the Nakamichi, but I was told that it sound good. Yeah, the ML system is trash...waste of money. Plus I never understood why the need to put a speaker in the middle of the dash!

I would but it won't let me. LALEX was planning on doing one to though so You may get what you're looking for. I had a black 430 with the intentions but like I said I just didn't like the car enough. If the 430 had Nakamichi and the torque that the 400 had, I would have kept it and spectra'd it.
