Spectra Blue Mica GS430
Anybody on here have one? I want to get mine painted one of these days!
Pretty sure they stopped making it in 2000. I tried to find one but everyone I called wouldn't call back. Also, I couldn't help but notice the short in supply. I remember when these came out. I saw this color ALL THE TIME. There were many of them made in this color and it is not SUPER rare. Now when you search for one for sale only a few good ones will come up. The rest will be riced out/wrecked etc.
Thoughts?

Indeed, 2000 was the last year for Spectra Blue, so that means there is no such thing as a GS430 in that color.
When I bought mine in 2003, my friends thought I was crazy for trying to buy a used car in a specific color. To make matters worse, I did not want a tan interior, and I wanted a V8 car - most Spectra Blue cars seem to be GS300s with tan interior.
After a couple of months of searching, I finally found a GS400 with low miles and grey interior one state away. Ironically, it had been ordered through a huge local Lexus dealer not far from me and the original owner had it transported to Arizona (not a big deal since he was the VP of Swift Transportation) when he bought the car new.
Adrian's is indeed a fine example (the BEST example, really), but, like my car, his has been repainted to further customize the look.

Very nice car. I considered trading somebody my 2002 GS430 but like I said before they are all too mod'ed or Not for sale! I guess I may end up being the first one with a spectra 430. Not going to happen anytime soon though
It just still puzzles me that the supply is so low. I guess many were wrecked or junked!

I think that pretty much sums it up! Pretty sure alot of these have been RIP'd, tracked to death, etc. Very similar to the E36 estoril BMW M3 coupes. Those were easy to be had in their hayday. Good luck getting one now. A friend of mine had a black one and said that his insurance told him it was one of the most wrecked cars out there.

I'm going through with this. I will have this thing painted within the next year. ***** it. Guess I'll be the only spectra 430 since nobody wants to sell theirs. Can't blame them I guess. And I'm not buying anyone's rice rocket. They should've all been made in blue anyway, I don't know why they even bothered offering other colors. LOL
