The car was low on gas because im replacing the fuel filter and wanted to do in on an empty tank however this isnt the first time its been low on gas and i dont recall it shaking like this soon as i turned it off., any idears?

I think you're on the right track here (low on gas), replace the fuel filter and fill up and see if it still does that. I'm betting it wont. It sounds like a little run-on to me. Which is weird whether it low on gas or not... but still

My 99 GS3 does the same thing, even with full tank of fuel. I am at 130K on original motor/trans mounts, so I am planning on replacing those soon. I am interested to know if that is the actual cause of the shaking.
