Is this a real TTE lip? I think it's a replica, but not sure...

Default Is this a real TTE lip? I think it's a replica, but not sure...
Were there a few versions? It does not look like other TTE Lips I've seen, no TTE logo on the inside, but does have the recessed rectangle on the front for a badge.

when i bought my tte from milky a year or so back it has TTE engraved on the inner side near the center area.

even if its a replica it looks pretty clean if thats how the outcome came out.

Thats part of the problem. I bought the lip in another state and had someone pick it up for me. I haven't physically seen the lip yet. If you look at my pics there is a rectangle on the backside but no TTE logo, it does have "PUR" stamped on it so that may stand for poly. It also looks as if it says "made in germany" but I am not 100% certain because I am looking at a magnified pic and it gets blurry. I will contact the member/seller and see what he says because I would hate to have paid real prices for a replica lip.

It's legit, it's looks like it's made of Poly and counterfeiters aren't going to go through the trouble of adding a serial part # to it...

the construction of the inside area looks poly. so who knows it might be real n they might have covered the TTE emblem area up front.

i think that it is real. the pic you posted is of whitevomr's lip. he had the tte emblem area shaved off.
