Kinetik Battery number or Optima
Does anyone know what our battery numbers are for our car
I read a couple of the threads and said that yellow tops are not that good
so I was planning on going with a kinetik anyways I cant find the part number or which one fits.
Over the weekend I went into an auto parts store that wanted 200 for a redtop was about to buy it but realized the terminals were on the wrong side I just want to get a better battery I had a napa gold ( it was the most cold cranking amps i could find) its a 84 month battery died in 3 years exactly
Thanks in advance I did search all i found was a for sale ad for the sleeve and that battery was in the trunk

I had the KHC-2400 (80-85lbs,geesh) in my maxima.
KHC-1800 would be perfect for our cars. I know I would
need two to handle 1900 rms. Optima batteries are good,
why people play optimas when optimas was the shiet when
they first came out. I had three redtops (from autozone w/warranty) and it lasted for 4 years and only returned one cause of dead cell. can't complain!!!
if you're on a budget but want quality. Get a XSPower or Optima battery.
I'm not hating on Kinetiks, especially when I used to own one. It just
boils down to your budget.

Optima was good for its time... however on 2 occasions using them for starter batteries, I blew a cell in each one. Junk IMO. Go with Kinetik and fit the biggest you can without the battery tray, I think you can fit the 2400, unless you're concerned about weight. I have 3 1800 I like having juice and btw, amazon FREQUENTLY has sick sales on Kinetik batteries, found the 1800's recently for like $180-$200 shipped

Mr Jokster is correct for the most part. I think Toy4Life doesn't mind the ticket price so on the Optima battery......go cop a Kinetik and call it a day. If you do get a Kinetik, just be careful with the terminals touching the hood when closed(I learned the hard way).
Off topic...gotta send Jokster the pics of the box setup in the trunk...keep 4getting.

Just curious what is your goal....Do you have a high power audio system? Or is this just a battery that your car is due for?
If its for big audio system I say go with Kinetik. If it is a average system a yellow top be fine, they do cost as much. I am bios I like Optima
Yellow top or any battery that is "Deep Cycle" is good for audio. The idea is to run your system while your car is off. Thats where "deep cycle" type batterys go to work.
Red top or "Starting" battery just help start your car. Good enough for the average system but not recomended for playing music while the engine is off. No charges to the battery so it will die out. Like all battery.
Red top are good starter battery if you just need a battery to drive and want a quality item. If not just do autozone gold. Get one with 5 year warranty. Cant go wrong!
I said too much.
