Man reading that story just make me so upset. What kind of person take a friend car without permission and go race and RACK it, then on top of that don't even admit that he FAIL as a friend! man i'm really sorry you have to go through this man. I hope you get good answers from the mother, if not i agree with Mr. Jokster! hopefully thing turn out right for you man!

Also be very careful when talking to ANY insurance company. The fact that you told the other guy to drive your car, is going to be YOUR KILLER. They will see it as consent and they will END you.

READ AGAIN... HE told him to take and drive his car. His mistake was trusting a friend, which can happen to any of us.

DO NOT TALK to the MOM. you WILL be making a mistake that will cause MUCH $$$$$$..May even put you in debt for a long time. NO BULL****. You have to be SMART and not think with your HEART. i know you may want to go easy and talk it out but, I Guarantee, the other parties WILL NOT. this is their opportunity to get PAID!.

First thing you do is talk to the DA personally about your case. They are Lawyers by trade and are their to help you as your right as a Citizen/resident.

I would wait to see what he recommends. he may even be able to talk to the insurance companies to get them of your back. in worst case scenario i would get a Lawyer to help you.

x2.....dont talk to her, just get a lawyer cause you GONNA get sued since it was your car....

SORRY OP man the car looked good btw

Damn man that is just so wrong on so many different levels.

I agree with the others, though -- you seriously need to find a lawyer fast. Unfortunately, you're going to need one to sort this mess out.

That is by no means a friend. I'm not sure what I'd do if I was in your position, 5 years ago I would have went ape **** on him with a baseball bat. That is the wrong thing to do though, you'll get yourself in a lot of trouble. Get a friend that he doesn't know to do it. Just kidding. Seriously talk to the D.A. and get them to throw the book at this douche bag.. jail time, fines, the whole 9 yards. Definitely a good idea to talk to an lawyer because I'm sure the victims will be looking for a come up.
