Looks like because of the lighting position of the cluster, the cluster cover needs to be of a lighter color for the needles to light up. Seems to rely on the light off the back cover. Unlike other vehicles where the needle will have its own bulb. Kinda limits our options but I would like a nice white cluster cover with nicely designed numbers. There was a member who had the style that I would prefer but he never posted pics of them installed

So I installed it again just for your amusement and now I remember why I took them off again in the first place LOL. If there was a way to make the needles gow I would totally keep them. If anyone wants them I'm gonna sell 'em for $200 shipped. Comes with extra speedo as shown in the top right corner of the first photo
