Default Removing the Yellow in GS Foglights

How can this be achieved? Would I have to buy new lights or can I take the yellow out easily?

Thanks.

Hi Ted -

Yeah, I am open to trading. I am just not a big fan of yellow so email me the condition of your lights and we can figure it out:

webmaster@synergydesign.com

Thanks.

if your trade doesn't go through, there's a DIY writeup by someone here. hell, i can't remember who or where the link is, but i'm bumping this up so hopefully others could respond better to you.

does anyone know of clearing out the yellow makes it brighter or the same or anything different?

Thanks Bravo & LexusRules for the help - you guys rock! I figured there was some DIY method behind making the light white.

See ya.

dont go with the polargs.. go with the new LED wedge bulbs, infact im picking some up today. The polargs loose all their color over time and become yellow again!!!

Yup, the yellow cracks out nicely. It felt weird breaking the glass, but it really did the trick!

lexusrules,

thanks for the follow-up and original writeup. helps a world of people. where did you get the LED bulbs at and do you have pics? i placed an order for M6's at www.optsauto.com(hey, a1exus!!) but they had problems verifying my card and i never followed it up.

Hey bravo, what site did you order the M6's at? The www.optsauto.com that you mentioned didn't work.

I have the Polarg M6's and they are awesome! Very bright and they match my HID's quite nicely.

The problem is that they are much bigger than wedge bulbs and I accidentally broke one trying to get it into the drivers side housing (very tight squeeze and little wire slack = problem).

THIS ROYALLY SUCKED because I had to take a hanger with tape on the end to get the glass shards out of the lense. IT TOOK FREAKIN' TWO HOURS, however it worked for the most part. I have a couple small peices left inside and a few snail trails from the tape, but it's better than it was! I suggest being VERY careful trying to get those M6's through the housing. I also suggest not drinking before applying.

Later.

i dont have the LED yet but i kno my polargs arent what they used to be and are all burned on the inside almost it looks liike... anyways the best place to get the LEDs is www.autodynamic.com

they ahve single LED, dual LED or quad LED.

If you have stock HID go with the white/white, if you have the phillips 6000k go with the white/blue.. blue/blue should not be used.

good luck!
