I am very happy and love the way the eyelids looks. It is just vinyl, but looks really nice. Plus it is basically free. It took me like 20 min to do both. As far as the black wheels, I took them to a guy I know and he sandblasted them or something like that, and then he painted them for me. They look black, but really up close they have like very subtle green/blue/purple metallic flake in it. You really don't see it unless you are in the right light and up really close. It looks damn good!

NYWizard's car is pure rice. It should be documented as what NOT to do to your Lexus.
As for eyelids, I think eyelids on the JZS-147 GS's look nice. Their headlights lend themselves to it. On a JZS-161 GS's...dunno, I don't think they're that great...
Personally, I would only do eyelids if they were either fiberglass or urathane...I wouldn't use tape...that's a little rice...(mcnelson, I think your car, otherwise, is awesome...just no tape on the lights bro! Hey, are you still getting new wheels?)

BTW...GS4fun you run played out bling-bling 20s, kinda pi$$es you off, huh? Easy on the rice stuff when talking to fellow CL members, there are nicer ways.... Once you get to the level of customization that mcnelson has, there isn't a whole lot lft to do, every little thing gives as much pride as when the first set of wheels goes on.

manaray, I would have to agree somewhat about the eyelids, they are not ideal, I would prefer fiberglass ones. As far as wheels, no I am going to keep those but am thinking about painting them gunmetal this winter, but I am not sure.
Rico's Revenge, I truly appreciate you backing me up, us few gen1 owners have got to stick together. I appreciate the positive comments about my car, I really do. Thanks man!

Yeah, I don't think GS4Fun's wheels are "played out"...how can you have a played out wheel when only a few people have them? I think the only other person who had them was Carlos of Wheel Boutique (GS4Fun, did you buy those from Carlos?)
McNelson - Gunmetal should look cool...but I think a set of wheels in GunMetal with high polished lips would look great...some of Deep Racing Ryugi would look sic on your car...
