I found a job design body kit and wanted to know if anyone had any knowledge of them. I searched for the 2gs and nothing, they seem to be quite popular for the 3gs. this kit comes already painted msm, complete w job design foglights and has only been mounted to do the necessary body work. owner has never driven with the body kit on, and hes selling it to me all for $500. Just wanted to know if anybody on here has any experience with job design kits, and wouldl like their feedback. Thanks

guy said he paid $3150 for the kit, and I negotiated him down to $500 from the $800 he was aking. I dont hink its a scam because I did speak with the owner. Just havent had the oppurtunity to take a peak/pick it up because he is 5 hours away and has been out of town. If i do pick up I will definatly post up and show pics etc

The first step to verify if the kit is a knock off is to check the back of each part.

A REAL Job Design kit has the Job Design logo embedded into the fiberglass on the back side center of the front and rear bumper and back side center of each side skirt. Ask him to provide photos of each.

Please post up pictures when you have them as there are several members here who "KNOW" what the logo should look like. I could post up pictures, but that would give it away wouldn't it?

I once found an SC430 for $15k (blued for like $50k at the time) I had his phone number, vin number address. I talked to him on the phone and everything Sounded great.... Needless to say, it was a scam.

He wanted to do everything through ebay ONLY (where I found the deal). Ok cool, so do I! much safer. First we did a lot of dealing through email cause I had a lot of questions. And me not thinking, kept replying to the emails. EVERY email he sent me was "ebay certified" the whole page was cloned by him and all so I actually thought it was being done on ebay, I would click reply in the email and it would send me to a cloned ebay page for a reply, even the url was damn close to ebays, it was just a slight overlook on my part. Honestly I dont remember all the details cause this was quite a few years back. But the main thing was that he wanted me to send money through MoneyGram or one of those wiring methods. I cant remember the last thing I demanded, but it was enough for him to never contact me again. I think I demanded that we do it through paypal or something. After the fact found that the number I was calling was a prepaid phone AND found that he had I guess hacked a dormant ebay account and used it to post up a fake 'auction'.
