That last pic is Black Cherry Pearl color and was first offered on 2001 models. It IS different from Cinnabar color.

I was interested in both of those colors, but I think you need to see them in person before making a decision. For example, the cinnabar pearl looks even better in person (to me) than in pictures, but I was a little disapointed in the black cherry pearl. Is there a nearby Lexus dealer where you can go look at a few colors? They will no doubt have at least a couple of new and used GS's on the lot...

Good luck at the auction. I would highly recommend checking out Exact Performance (http://www.exactauto.com) for your scheduled maintenance. They installed my L-Tuned shocks and springs for a little more than half of what the dealer wanted.

dt21823- thanks for the reply, my dad has a 98 LS 400, and he gets all of his maintenance done there, they do a good job, and have good prices, i will definetely have them install all of my aftermarket products... rims, springs, etc...

Not to mention they don't look at you like you're crazy for wanting to do mods. The service dept at Superior Lexus basically told me they had never heard of anybody wanting to do aftermarket exhaust on a GS. I'm much happier with the customer service from Exact (wish I would have discovered them much sooner).
