the day i bought the car everything worked fine, but 2 days later, the oem radio just stopped playing CDs. the cd changer in the glove seem to be working fine, but for some reason it wont read??? anyone had this problem or can someone point me in the right directions?

Are you using burned CDs or real deal CDs?

actually mine does the same thing. It reads some cd's, it can be burned or even cd's from best buy...and i usually have to take out the cd holder for a few second's and put it back in and hope it plays the cd i want..-__-

I know this might sound weird but make sure you have the CDs facing the right way up. When I bought my car I was angry thinking the CD changer cannot read CDs but actually I had put the CD facing the wrong way. Just a thought.

thanks man, it works not, but i feel stupid, cause i was using the radio for like 2 months cause i thought my cd changer broke hahaha

Agreed. Since my first iPod and Napster, the only discs my head unit has ever seen are DVD's.

lol, i figured that out the first of week of getting my car, but it just skips random cd's and plays others...or it often says ERR 2

Yea, CDs are a thig of the past now they dont make those anymore. Ipods are better, get a new deck with Ipod adapter...way better than CDs
