How about giving the driver ahead of you something to look at when they look in the rearview mirror? 
J/K...I know doing 3D modeling isn't easy...but like others have said, why waste your energy on GIMMICKS? Make something useful...not a Superman "I wannabe like Shaq" emblem...

Solidworks... cool program. It's the most user-friendly CAD program I've seen.
Anyway, as for the grill emblem, how about something with a stylized "L"? I'm not as good with the computer as you, but you could make it look like it has a lot more depth than it does in reality, or maybe craft it as a prism so that it reflects a rainbow of colors as you look at it from different angles. I'm not saying either of those would look good or even be buildable, but they do represent completely original ideas...

Hey enginyr...have you tried the antithesis of the logo idea?
How about a phantom style grill? NO emblems at all. There are a couple available for the 2nd gen, but none for the "real" GS(s) (LOL!!) the 1st gen. Could you figure a way to have a mesh style grill and make it look OEM?

And you never know what others are capable of. There are people who can make those without being an engineer (Manaray probably have hookups to get those made)
If you can come up with a really good design, then that's profit for ya.
