Default how to take off the stock armrest?

so i got my armrest for the 98 gs400 from steve, and now i am having a very tough time replacing it... it comes in a set of the cover (the leather part) and the first tray... it's all together. i looked at my center glove box area, and in the second tray (the bottom one), i saw two 10mm bolts. i took them off and now the second tray is loose. however i can't tak it off coz'

1) the rear part is "trapped" by the first tray and the cover, and i can't slide it anwhere
2) the front part of the second tray is totally stuck under the gear box cover and the wood trim

i know if i can take off the second tray i can replace the armrest easily, coz' i already see the bolts that bolt the cover + 1st tray set to the console. however i just couldn't find out how to take off the 2nd tray.... can somehow help me out here? maybe those who have audio mods??

please.... i figure it would be stupid to take it to the shop and pay them 20 bucks to put them in, coz' i know it won't be too hard. but i am now like 1 step away @_@

any help is apprecaited.

Just go to the Lexus dealer and ask a mechanic, he'll tell you how to remove it for free.
How much did the armrest cost you?
