Default Heated Seats Stopped Working Help!!

Yesterday I noticed the heated seat lights were not lighting up or working. Car is a 98 GS400. Has this happened to any members before. What was the problem and what was the solution? Is it something as simple as a fuse, or is this one of those $900 fixes? Thanks guys

try fuse or relay...look at manual .....if you have an apple you are screwed cause you can look at manual..... i have boot camp so it works on the windows side...

Also for me the passenger seat little orange light on the button does not light up when switched on but the seat gets warm ...so i am cool with it....

Happened to me as well. ITs not the fuse. What else could it be, anyone know about this issue?

It could be a lot of things, the fuse/relay, a loose wire somewhere, a bad connector, corrosion in a wire, a short in the circuit. Pretty much you need to check the protection device associated with the system, and if that doesn't work get a voltmeter and check the wires.
