Fuel filter change slight Problem HELP

Ok, first of all, the white groomet and the black o-ring go together. You drop the groomet into the tube on the filter, and drop the o-ring on top of it. When you snap the suction plate over it, everything will be tight.

P.S. I'm assuming in that 2nd picture it is the view of the fuel filter, not the suction plate?

The yellowish groomet, I don't remember where it came from. Play around with it, it must go somewhere.

ok i put one between filter and top section and one between pump and filter hope that how should be

im confused on witch way the o-ring should go on on the insert
is it large surface on insert ~~>oring~~>fuel pump or
small surface on insert~~>oring>fuel pump
