tire inflation/ pressure monitoring systems

anyone use tire inflation/ pressure monitoring systems? Do they work good? Will they tell you the exact tire pressure in pounds or just a light to tell you it’s low? Give me some feedback. Thanks

The 99 Olds Alero uses the ABS' wheel rotation rate to determine if one tire is low....

grand prix GTP's also have them, they seemed to work pretty well.

so do they give a per lb rate of pressure of the tire?
