This sucks because im trying to play hardball with the guy but want the car pretty bad....but i dont want to pay over market value but cant seem to get a firm market value for this car with its options......thought this was a buyers market......i know the sport design is kinda rare but with the saddle interior its super rare.....NADA actually priced it above KBB ...they said it would be $14,425 "clean retail".....

That's too high... I dunno if cars are more expensive over there.
But I just bought my 2003 GS300 for $10,500 with only 66k miles. It has a clean title and a good maintenance history. The original wanted $12,500, but I was able to bargain it down to $10,500 because the car needed new tires and the front/rear bumper needed to be repainted because of chips and scratches. The guy lives and works in the SF city so the bumpers took a beating. It only cost me $500 to repaint the front/rear bumper. The car looks really good now almost looks brand new. I haven't bought new tires because I'm currently looking for some after market wheels.

It's on you if it's to high or not... This is a SUPER-RARE color combo! U don't find these everyday. In fact, I never saw one in S.FLA. 4 yrs ago when I was in the market for my SportsDesign. Everyone has there opinions on what's to much to pay for a car based on a BS book with prices on it! Seems that u have a fuzzy feeling for this ride ......... Just think about what this car needs once u buy it for u to be 100% happy with it. Key word need!!! Not want, we all want everything. GL

If you can find another color combo for a cheaper price, then hold out....but we all know that's not going to happen. I paid 10K for my 85K miles sportdesign with the major maintenance done. I'm not complaining. Try your best to haggle the price, you might get lucky.

yeah, I have given the guy the silent treatment for two days now when we were talking for 3 straight.....he seemed motivated to sell.......but firm on his price. I think I might throw out $12,500 and see if he will jump on it.......If not then maybe this just isnt "The One".....no matter what i think

My point is that a gs300 with 110k miles for 13.8k is not a good price at all. At 14k I would want a special car FWIW (low miles, big engine, etc)
its got 90k
but like without the maintance etc your looking at spending another 1500 right when you get if you go take it to the dealership for the Lower ball joints and the waterpump timing etc

And the V8 comes with its own set of extra interior goodies too I'm sorry, but I'd pick up an 01-03 GS430 100x over an SD GS300. If the price was great, I'd say go for it, but when you can buy an 03' GS430 for less than that... wtf's the point? Saddle colored leather? pshhhh

The SD interior makes it a bit of collector's item but only to collectors so your buying audience is smaller if you're charging a premium for the SD. You're trying to stand out and be different by having a saddle interior which is fine but most car buyers won't care enough to pay more for it.
As much as we love CL, it is not representative of the car buying public.
