Haha, anyway. Off the top of my head... if memory serves correct they're between 25-27 depending on which wheel.

I can't believe my old BBS 18's were 18 lbs each God I miss those things.

...damn. My 2-pc forged 19's are 29lbs. BTW, if your looking for a very lightweight wheel that are very strong; look into Forgestar. I think their 19" wheels run around 22lbs each! The only thing is they do not offer a lipped style wheel...why I didn't buy them for myself. Sometimes I wonder if I should have went with them anyway. 7lbs savings of rotational mass PER CORNER is HUGE!

Nevermind..just read that your enkei's are 20lbs...damn, that's light!

Hey Nick,

i have RP03s on my GS400. im not a fan of heavy wheels unless im pushing 500hp plus, even then the suspension & brake components still take the hit. i like to look good but perform just as well. i have BBK all around, which are actually lighter than stock.

im looking to get wheels for my GS300 since its gonna go to another state but stay within the family. not looking for anything bigger than 16 or 17 . i want 16s mainly because of the weight savings, plus the benefit it will have on the GS300 performance Vs the 27lbs OEM stockies.

^ Yeah, more and more I keep reading about OZ wheels and others that are around 20lbs each in 19" sizes. I spent a lot on my wheels and only got them a year ago. I love the look but they do weigh a lot for multi-piece forged wheels. Good thing my car is modded...but it sucks to know that it "could" be faster.

Stock brakes can handle 19s well? Never tried.

Not sure. but i know with my 16s the 11 year old brake system has difficulty. especially since i know know they weigh at least 26lbs.
i have upgraded to SS brake lines, pads, and oem rotors, with syn fluid. i re set the pistons a couple of times by compressing them. i tell ya, they were not seized but close to it. i actually heard one piston snap loose after i torqued the **** out of it with my handy C-clamp

improvement is about 50% vs what they were.

stock brakes look puny under a 19 anyway

Yea after doing the brake flush with synthetic brake fluid it does feel a little more grabby. Handles ok on the 18s. Gotta find out how much the 19s weigh with tires.

Stock brake system is fine for normal street driving on 19" wheels. When I drive agressive it's not the best but it does it's job...when I want to slow down I don't just hit the brakes...I use the E-shift and braking combined; this way the braking system doesn't get taxed as much and I don't notice its flaws. Obviously a BBK would be great but I really don't want to dump more money into my car. Also, then I would have to get ANOTHER set of wheels (for the winter) that fit the BBK as well. My stock 16" wheels (used for winter) would not fit well with a BBK - obviously. So IMHO, in my circumstance it is not just the cost of the BBK...there are other costs in mind. Instead of finding a good deal BBK for ~$800 bucks, new (BBK friendly) wheels and tires would set me back another ~$2K or so. $2800 for better braking = no thanks; not in this economy anyway.

To help the stock braking system a little, I use oem sized Brembo Xdrilled rotors, Akebono ProACT HP Ceramic Pads, SS brake lines and SuperBlue brake fluid. These items help a lot! Just figured I would mention my experiences with stock brakes on my 19" wheels on my GS400.

That's funny cause my 22's are like a massive 50lbs a piece... no problems braking. In fact I recently had a passenger comment on how strong my brakes are
