Why do you prefer it sitting on the roof? I like it on the glass. Does not affect the paint if mounted on the glass. If anything were to happen, I would think it would be easier to remove on glass if for any reason it had to be removed. And this is just my opinion, but I think it flows better on the glass because it sort of extends the line of the roof.

Anyone know who still makes a glass mount for our cars? What are the downsides of glass vs. roof mount? Thanks.
