Question Hey guys a new member from sunny FLA

Hey everyone,
I just sold my vehicle online and I need some help. I have some cushion here on dates that I can send it out but the new buyer is very particular.
He wants the 430 send on an enclosed trailer to CO. Besides that he wants me to used a private company that owns all their vehicles, absolutely no brokers.
Has anyone ever heard of a company such as this. Please help I have about 2 weeks before it needs to leave FL.
Thank you,
gtms

Lol...refund their money and re-list the car. That sounds like a scam, although it's usually the other way around...?

Welcome to CL first off, but yeah I agree with the others this sounds like a possible scam. I work at a new car dealership and we have been alerted of this with transportation customer's from the actual vehicle manufacturer I work for so be cautious. Brian

Not to jack this thread, but I was just wondering if this was a scam what could the scammer get out of it. I wouldn't send the car unless I had the money first, also it does seem funny to buy a 430 across half the country unless it had something special. I'm fairly new here, but do you guys see scammers on here often??

An enclosed trailer? It's just a GS not a Lambo, it traveled to the dealership from the factory on an open carrier.

Sounds like the typical scams. Like previously asked what method where you paid by?

Sounds like a real pain to me. I'd relist and make sure this time all shipping arrangements are made by the buyer. Good luck....

Oh, and welcome to the 4m
