This is a bit of a surprise and worrisome. These covers came before the 01-05 and I don't remember others complaining of this issue. At this point, it is what it is. I am picking my set up from the painter on Sunday. I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

FLIPMOE is able to fold his mirror, but the gap is still there. I, on the other hand, have the same gap, but I cannot fold the mirror at all. There is an interference and it shows because paint chipped off where the cover is touching


Obviously I cannot expect OEM fitment, but I would at least hope the driver side fits like the passenger side.

Kevin, those pictures belong to FLIPMOE, not me. Mine looks the same however.

We dont know if the fitment problem is widespread or not because we haven't really heard back from anyone else.

I'm in the process of exchanging PM with CLT so I'm going to wait on the verdict.

these mirrors were made for RHD cars...that's why you're having issues. The LH mirror is more angled for the RHD cars...

I just installed the RH side and the fitment came out perfect lights both work i tested it out havent got done finish wiring all of it yet. will be working on the LH side tomorrow

If the RHD cars have their left mirrors angled more, then wouldn't that mean LHD cars should have the right mirrors angled, yet the right side fits perfectly? The only other explanation is that the right side mounting pedestal are identical for LHD and RHD, but the left side is different?
