i think this kit looks more stock than the scosche the way the corners are and the color i like nice job i had to smooth my scosche out try to make it look better but i think ill just order this one what kind of sub are you running. i have a jl w7 13.5 in the trunk took out the stock sub more like stock bass port lol helps though then i have all focal high end three ways in the back put the 6.5 in the rear deck and 4 in the doors and tweets in the rear upper panels even put my pioneer gps antenna in the stock location under the rear deck panel. anyways nice job always love to see other stereo junkies. **** i had the system for the car before i even bought it....lol

Nice install, looks clean and OEM. did you have a stock Navi before u swapped that in? also how is the pioneer headunits? the reason i asked because i've always been a Alpine fan for some time now. All the alpine products i've purchase always been top notch, no problems what so ever. i was always told that pioneer is "cheap junk" and don't by it blah blah blah etc. I have to admit the new Pioneer AVIC Z110 BT is looking pretty sweet, even better then the Alpine IVA W505. so im just curious on how the sound quality and reliablity comapred to an alpine unit

Not to take from the OP posting here but, those are minor things that don't bother me. My phone can compensate for this with its touchscreen and voice calling. I have a panavise mount for my phone currently and it works perfectly without much of a effort.

-measured the 4200 is a nice clean unit i can agree with you on that simple design. i was going to opt out for that unit i just didnt like the bottom part of it didnt like how it sticked out abit.

-str8 vip - no stock navi on it before - i agree on being an alpine junkie i was too man!!! the alpine HU always sound way cleaner then the pioneer unit. but when you add an amp to it. it all becomes the same now lol.. to me alpine has been the same sinces like 5 years ago..

-tom steele - dang your car sounds like a beast bro!! focal all around with a w7 woot thats some killa right there my boy has two w7 in his suburban and man those things push out mad air !
