Question GS430 Front Lower Brace

Any ideas where to get the front suspension lower brace for cheap? Wholesale TRD perhaps? Mine broke after being rusted, so it makes an annoying rattling noise every time there is a bump in the road Tom's at L-Tuned for $414 seems a bit much.

cusco sells one, and it's about 165. I had one, but sold it. That thing was solid. Also, you can get the stock one for under 100 easily

Great. Who is a good reseller? Doesn't seem like they sell direct.

I got mine from the dealership for $125.

Same thing as you, rusted out on passenger side.

Glad I am not the only one. Did you notice a dramatic improvement in handling once it was replaced? That is what I am assuming will happen aside from getting rid of that annoying clank sound.

tbh you shouldn't notice much as the brace is completely hollow and flexes very easily when under load and one side of the car hits a uneven surface.... if you want a drastic improvement in handling, you will need to look towards something like a TRD that is completely solid...

I didn't really notice a difference in handling.
I kinda wish I got an aftermarket one, but money is going into other parts/repairs.

Ok. But it certainly has to be better than with a broken one

Lol. Yah. I do have it. I have not yet installed it...

just out of curiosity... did your OEM brace rusted and brake off or some aftermarket one?

I still have my OEM one in my car... and now i am thinking to replace because of that known problem!!

Yup OEM. My GS came from Illinois so the brace didn't stand a chance I guess.
