Default the heck is going on?

I dont know if any you guys had this issue but its an issue about my gas meter, i noticed right after i pump gas into my car, i go to turn the car on and proceed to step on the brakes to switch it into drive mode but RIGHT as i step on the brakes, i see my gas meter drastically dropping right after i pumped gas into it, dropping also close to what it was originally before i pumped gas into my car. This happens all before i even DRIVE the car out of the gas station. eerrrr!

thats happend to me similar i pumped a full tank of gas and went to my car to start it and after I did i noticed the gas didn't even go up as if the gas pump just stole my money and gave me no gas, but after a few miles it went back to normal.

Does this always happen when you pump gas into your car?

almost everytime, but sometimes my gas meter WOULD go up right when i turn the car on but when i proceed to step on the brakes and shift into drive mode, i can literally see my gas meter drop back down to where it was before i pumped gas into it. this happens once i step on the brakes. errrrrr
