Hello all,
I just picked up my first Lexus. Its a 1998 Gs400 with 82k and all maintenance done already (including timing belt). I've been loving the car in the few days I've had it. Already ordered a new factory radio with the AUX port on the front of it. I decided to pick up the GS because it was a nice common ground for power and comfort that I was looking for.

I kinda like the pin stripe actually, Im going to try and go get it tinted this week. I've put some Axxis Ultimate brake pads on the front since the stock ones were shot when I picked up the car. Im thinking about putting a different subwoofer in the spot of the stock one. Im getting about 20mpg as of lately with beating on it every once in a while, so fuel economy is right on par with what I was hoping for city.

Dang, nice pickup! Welcome to Club Lexus.
I want to know where all these low miles GS coming out from, my guess old people that own them and now getting rid of them thinking the car's too old.. hehe little do they know these cars are bulletproof and can go 300,000 plus miles regardless of age!

Yeah the guy I got it from was about 28-29. He was selling it to get a CLS550.

I wanted to retain the factory radio because I didnt want to lose my factory sub or have to deal with running wires for an aftermarket amplifier.
